Primary Success Factors:

Works with IT groups to implement a disaster recovery and business continuance solutions for ETL processes, including the installation, configuration, and testing of software.
Participates in the development and maintenance of strategic, architectural, and tactical plans for the Bank's data integration technologies. Conversant with and cognizant of the future direction of systems, how that direction impacts the Bank, and how future and current systems can be exploited for the benefit of the Bank.
Maintains understanding of data modeling and data integration technology trends and best practices and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units and IT; makes recommendations on buy vs. build decisions. Mentors Team members and is a technical resource on data integration and ETL technologies.
Maintains understanding of information flows and the data integration technology to support the documentation of the all of the banks structured data flows.

Required Experience:

Seven or more years leveraging Informatica Cloud toolset (IICS/IDMC) to build and orchestrate data pipelines, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange between cloud and/or on-premise platforms.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs to support data integration and application interoperability across enterprise systems.
Prefer at least three years of experience in Data Modeling, or Data Integration, including experience using relational, star-schema, and multidimensional data models. Knowledge of current practices, theories, and approaches to performance tuning and optimization, collection of metadata, table partitioning, materialized views, and parallel processing. Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and UNIX scripting.

The base salary range for this position is $126K-$181K per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Job Description
The Data Integration (DI) Specialist's role is to model/map and execute all activities related to the integration of data across various sources into an organized and unified view. This individual is also responsible for the monitoring of data flow between databases, servers and Cloud services to identify and implement the most suitable DI architecture for the organization's needs. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role. Responsibilities
Operational/Technical:
Work with project managers and developers to ensure that data entry, retrieval, change and delete functions meet business requirements for project completion.
Lead in company data integrations with various systems that are utilized.
Identify data entry, retrieval, change, and delete issues, and work to ensure a high level of data availability.
Coordinate and work with other technical staff to develop relational databases and secondary databases.
Develop automated database applications, where necessary, using the applicable database packages.
Identify inefficiencies in current databases and leverage solutions.
Install and configure relevant components to ensure database access and overall database security.
Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues.
Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for client/server databases and database applications.
Evaluate and select database components, including hardware, relational database management systems, ETL software, metadata management tools, and database design solutions.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Years of direct experience in enterprise-level data integrations
Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional databases between disparate business units and systems.
Strong experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers
Strong experience with database platforms, including Microsoft SQL 2008/2012
Experience with database design applications, including Microsoft SQL 2008/2012.
Maintain high standards of data quality through the introduction and enforcement of information handling processes and organization of the data integration processes.
Hands on experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping and methodology development, and data mapping.
Working technical knowledge of current database software, protocols, and standards.
Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting database servers, including Microsoft SQL 2008/2012.
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices methodology.

Data specialist job in Pittsburgh, PA
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field * Minimum of 5 years programming experience which includes a minimum of one year working with big data platform, experience in data engineering domain, Python, SQL, and cloud platforms such as Azure
* Familiarity with the relevant systems, tools, languages and business domain which includes:
* Data lakehouse principles, relational and Kimball data models required

MAJOR DUTIES:
