The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, performance, and reliability of mission-critical Oracle database environments, including Exadata systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Oracle Database Management Oversee the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of Oracle databases across production, test, and development environments. 2. Patch Management & Upgrades Plan and execute Oracle database patching, version upgrades, and migrations while ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to compliance standards. 3. Exadata Administration Manage and support Oracle Exadata systems, including cell servers, storage servers, and Infiniband networks, ensuring optimal performance and availability. 4. Performance Tuning Monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance issues through in-depth analysis, query optimization, and resource management. 5. Backup & Recovery Design, implement, and test robust backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard to ensure data integrity and disaster readiness. 6. Automation & Scripting Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine tasks, monitoring, and reporting using Shell, PL/SQL, and other tools. 8.
