** This is a hybrid position located in the Collinsville, Illinois area with some local travel required **

Delivers ongoing data loading and reconciliation, customer support, technical troubleshooting, and maintenance of developed database software. Designs, develops, and maintains a multitude of complex relational database reports.

Run performance testing procedures to ensure the proper operations of a database and to ensure that it's error-free.

Analyze the needs of an organization and produce an effective database system according to their needs and specifications. This includes collecting data, analyzing the data, designing algorithms, drawing flowcharts and implementing code for the logic developed through the algorithms and flowcharts.
Develop database documentation. Designs, develops and enhances data models using SQL. Test designs to ensure the system runs smoothly. Provides requirements analysis and data modeling. Designs system workflow, architecture to meet business requirements. Develops all database objects and deploys new database applications. Independently maps out, plans and performs ongoing administration of database and datamart software including data loading and reconciliation, analysis of data anomalies with business customers. Provides new feature enhancements, education and training, monitoring and optimization, technical support, and database maintenance. Architects, designs, develops, and maintains a multitude of complex relational database reports supporting executive dashboards, ongoing operations analysis, management decisions, process and quality improvement, and business partner negotiations. Performs quality assurance role for complex and sensitive database application features developed by others including preparing and executing test plans, logging defects, and retesting corrected defects to validate feature integrity, accuracy, and completeness prior to customer deployment. Capacity plan and properly identify required hardware, software, database configuration/architecture necessary to support application needs Responsible for system performance of the data tier and the reliability of data feeds across the enterprise system Read, analyze, and digest what the client wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible ETL process around those goals. Use interactive reporting features by providing links to sub-reports and drill-through reports Automate report distribution through standard and data-driven subscriptions Maintain existing data warehouse for reporting and data analytics Develop data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching. Assist correction of performance bottlenecks and debugging application or data content related issues. Participate in the development and support of reporting solutions including program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, and unit testing. Identifies and effectively communicates technology needs and/or investments needed to support team goals and success.
