World Help, a Christian humanitarian organization serving the physical and spiritual needs of impoverished communities around the world, is looking to hire a Database Management Specialist to serve as a support role to the operations of World Help in providing implementation, reporting, and daily management to the World Help donor database while assisting the Platforms Manager in streamlining organization-wide processes and services. Together, these responsibilities allow the Database Management Specialist to improve World Help's overall efficiency and workflow.
Whoever is taking on this role must exhibit exemplary attention to detail, proficient analytical skills, and a strong administrative skillset in order to be selected for the Database Management Specialist. Scope of Job
60% - Database Administration -
Time will be dedicated to uploading, administering, and communicating information across all platforms to key parties inside and outside of World Help.
40% - Statements and Receipting
- Time will be dedicated to pulling data and printing statements on a daily/weekly and monthly basis.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Run and analyze data-driven reports such as mailing lists, email reporting, income reports, and any other related records for staff and third-party vendors as requests are received.
Perform data surgery to platforms/services in order to resolve errors and remove invalid data.
Assists Platforms Manager in investigating operational areas that need upgrades/improvement.
Manages the First Time Donor Process through pulling statements and mailing lists for first gift statements, first gift letter, second gift letter, and potentially a third gift letter. This process includes running reports for annual gifts, donations, designations, recurring gifts, and active sponsorship names, printing the daily/weekly monthly statements and pulling mailing lists.
Imports relevant data gathered from emails, thank you notes, and other applicable correspondence into donor database.
Responsible for printing monthly statements/letters.

Works primarily in office with remote capability.
This position requires sitting at desk and computer most of the day.
No travel
This position must take into consideration "peak times" when requesting time off and discuss with manager any possible requests that would fall during "peak business" for time off to be considered.
