I'll Be There for You

At Daugherty, not only will you become a better person but you'll also become a better consultant. This is something that differentiates Daugherty from other firms because many employees agree that you don't see this level of support in those other firms. Due to this support, the culture at the company is teach, learn, write good code and repeat. From the very first interview to your last day, you'll notice a sense of community that can't be found anywhere else.
Plus, you'll have access to the people, tools and experiences that will help you advance in your career at Daugherty. From 1-on-1 mentoring to lunch-n-learns, evening classes and certification programs, you can go as far as you want. In 2018 alone, the company provided more than 550 educational opportunities such as these to employees.
To impress you, even more, the company's team has earned over 400 certifications through its partnership with ICAgile. Those certifications ranged from Tableau, AWS and Azure to PMP and Hadoop. So as long as you are driven to learn new things in the interest of staying relevant, you're in the right place.
The company is dedicated to providing the team meaningful and rewarding work through supporting local communities. Daugherty does this by partnering with organizations like STEAM/STEM youth program development, by investing time into diversity and inclusion, and working alongside veterans and minorities.
The University at Daugherty
Forever Learning
That's right. The company offers an 8-week program called Daugherty University that every consultant has access to early in their career. Throughout the 8 weeks, you'll enhance your technical and consultative skills through the classes you take. You'll be mentored by senior members of the Daugherty team throughout your time in the program. Once you find yourself at the end of the program, you'll begin working with other fellow teammates to complete a final project using the skills that you learned or sharpened up during the program. After this has been completed, you'll join the rest of the teams in the field as an associate consultant.
The Interview Process at Daugherty
Worth Every Step
The company looks for individuals who are smart, curious, problem solvers and lifelong learners. If that's you then it's time to prepare for the interview process. The first step is meeting the company's recruiters. Then you'll attend the Kickoff Information Night and Assessment Day.
If those steps go well, you'll be presented with a Technical Assessment and Skills challenge. And then you'll be asked back for the interview if the challenge meets the company's expectations. The hiring team will take a few days to select the candidates who fit in best to their culture and those candidates will receive a job offer. While the process may seem long-winded, at least you'll know it'll be worth it.
