Conduct thorough inspections to assess electrical systems, identify potential hazards, and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades. Collaborate with homeowners to understand their electrical needs, provide expert advice, and offer solutions to improve energy efficiency and safety. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in all service work performed. Diagnose electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment and implement effective solutions to resolve issues. Complete electrical service calls in a timely manner, manage work orders, and maintain accurate documentation of work performed. Educate homeowners on electrical system operation, maintenance best practices, and safety guidelines. Keep abreast of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and electrical code updates to enhance technical knowledge and skills. Service Electrician Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Electrician's license or certification. Proven experience as a Residential Service Electrician Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues. Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Outstanding customer service and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments and confined spaces. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
