Qualifications * Currently enrolled in a GIS, Geography Bachelor's degree program or related field from an accredited college or university. A full time four-year college student, a graduate student, or within one year of graduation date majoring in GIS, Geography or related field. * Must have knowledge of computer software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and AutoCAD * A high-school diploma or equivalent required. * Perform basic arithmetic computations. * Apply understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Identify, address, and resolve problems involving multiple variables and varied situations. * Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. * Proficiency in both Microsoft and Google Suite applications. * Understanding of geospatial concepts, cartography, and spatial data management. * Skilled in data editing, conversion, and integration from multiple sources. * Basic knowledge of GIS database structures, including geodatabases and attribute table management. * Troubleshooting skills to address technical issues and project challenges. * High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of maps, data, and project deliverables. * Understanding of data privacy and security protocols relevant to GIS operations. * Proficiency in prioritizing tasks to efficiently complete deliverables.
