What You'll Do:
* Climb Trees! Davey offers both DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS climbing systems.
* Operate as an active crew member with supporting ground crew and crew leader.
* Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for clients.
* Including but not limited to:
* Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy
* Installation of cables, bracing and lightning protection systems
* Removal of hazardous trees
* Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.

Position Purpose:
The Shred-it Route Driver is responsible for providing industry-leading levels of service to clients while taking care of all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials, safely and in accordance with company policy and all local and federal laws. This involves loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and ensuring that all cargo is safely secured before transport.
Key Job Activities:
• Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
• Performs pre/post-trip checks, and driver check-in on the assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day.
• Reports maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up.
• Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner in an effort to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage.
• Complies with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service.
• Complete and maintain DOT logs when applicable.
• Maintains a high level of security when emptying consoles and/or collection totes by ensuring all documents are retrieved and the consoles/containers are securely locked.
• Services accounts using a hand-held device, ensuring console/containers are barcoded, locations are up to date, and the accuracy of type and quantity of consoles/containers.
• Manages assigned routes ensuring customers' confidential material is collected and serviced in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handles and responds to all customer problems and inquiries expediently and in the best interest of both the customer and Shred-it.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Education: Preferred Education: in High School or Equivalent Experience (North America & LATAM):
• 3+ years of experience, preferably in driving shred/box trucks and route management.
• Current driver's license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record.
• May require mandatory immunizations and credentials based on customer requirements.
• Stericycle welcomes non-native English speakers, as long as drivers can read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records as required by federal regulation.

Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:

Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. Qualifications:

Essential Functions of Crew Leader at Wright Tree Service:
Supervises a line clearance crew and is responsible for planning daily work for crew.

Responsible for being mindful of controlling crew costs including effective use of manpower, proper work methods, amount of trimming, and operation of equipment.
Considers inclement weather conditions and determines when to start or stop work, dependent upon its effect on employees and the nature of the work.
Safeguards employees and public from hazards in and around work area. Cooperates with customer, police, and fire departments when blocking street or driveways. Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, etc. to protect employees as well as the public. Trained to perform tree and bucket rescue. Follows and enforces safe work practices, rules and policies.
Responsible for truck inspection, proper working conditions, as well as necessary repairs to tools, trucks and other work equipment. Requests major repairs or replacements when required. Maintains good housekeeping on truck and at worksite locations.

Loads and unloads trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush into a wood chipper.

Services gasoline, air, and hand-powered tools and other equipment.
Relays hand-signals, directs traffic, drives and operates trucks and equipment as assigned, and keeps trucks and work area clear and orderly.
Trains new employees on proper procedures.
Works around hazardous equipment and in close proximity to energized power lines.
Works around excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, wood chipper and must wear proper personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities
To ensure your success, we provide hands-on training provided by Bartlett's dedicated team of arborists. As a Plant Health Care Specialist, you will play an important role in:
Performing tree and shrub care treatments using spray, tree injection, and soil injection tools as prescribed by the Arborist Representative
Communicating with clients regarding work performed during site visits
Mixing and applying pesticides and fertilizers to trees and shrubs according to diagnosis, safety procedures, label instructions, and state laws
Properly maintaining and operating equipment and vehicles (hand tools, spray agitators, portable spray equipment, and other machinery)
Completing accurate record-keeping and reporting daily
Safely driving a company vehicle to multiple properties throughout the day
Working as a member of a tree care crew, under the Arborist Crew Leader's supervision, during the off-season
Qualifications
A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
Interest in working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License - We will pay for the cost of the exam and help you prepare!
Valid driver's license
Learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the region
Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf care, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required
Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
· GS-9 $61,111 - $124,443 per year
Locality pay varies by duty location.
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.
Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency.

Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both. Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
· Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
· Enforcing the laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping to and from the United States.
· Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments for violations of laws and threats to national security.
· Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity for the purposes of gaining information from suspected violators of laws to determine the appropriate course of action.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Ability to make rapid, accurate judgments and decisions with respect to the application of the regulations, instructions, and procedures for importing and exporting merchandise to and from the United States; or enforcement and administration of laws relating to the right of persons to enter, reside in or depart from the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Education Substitution: A master's (or higher) degree, or two or more years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited college or university; OR Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of specialized experience AND successfully completed graduate-level education. This training consists of basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, examination of cargo/bags/merchandise, physical fitness, etc. Candidates assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program, which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.
