We are currently looking for an experienced Road Mechanic to keep our level of committed safety and service to our Davey Service Lines. The role includes diagnostics and repairs on trucks and equipment, such as chippers, aerials, cranes, and trailers. Responsibilities also include DOT and ANSI safety inspections. The candidate must possess the ability to interact with Managers on a professional level while discussing their service needs. The company will provide the service truck and any training needed the mechanic needs to provide his own tools. The position may include overtime, occasional overnight and emergency after-hours road calls. Job Duties What You'll Do: Keep us rolling to our jobs by making sure that nothing is going to stop us! Inspect and repair office vehicles and equipment including but not limited to: CDL Vehicles: Bucket Trucks, Log Trucks, Chip Trucks, etc. Pick-Up Trucks Aerial Lifts Brush Chippers Mobile Equipment Small Engine equipment Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
