The MCF (Mission Critical Facilities) Electrical Project Designer/Engineer performs technical duties under the supervision of a Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager. Understands and identifies project requirements and performs independent technical work on basic and advanced tasks within one's own discipline. Your Key Responsibilities
- Develops advanced systems designs within own discipline with limited supervision.
- Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
- Prepares project deliverables (drawings, specifications, reports etc.) per the client's intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Possess advanced knowledge of engineering practices, concepts, principles, codes, and standards in own discipline and basic knowledge of practices and principals in other disciplines.
- Able to conceptualize basic building systems within own discipline in entirety including interactions with varied disparate components.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of nomenclature, design techniques, materials, details, system components, construction techniques, and related engineering systems.
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, specifications, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Proficient in applicable software (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
- Working knowledge or proficiency in power systems software (e.g. SKM) and power cable ampacity calculation software (e.g. CYME CYMCAP) preferred.

- Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.

Your Opportunity
Stantec's Washington-based Environmental Services team is growing, and we have a need for a Project Manager to join our thriving site investigation and remediation practice. Qualified individuals will have 9+ years of experience, a background in environmental science or geology, experience managing projects in the environmental field, and a strong interest in environmental assessment, geotechnical investigations, and remediation.
As a Project Manager, the primary focus of this role will be management of site investigation remediation efforts at select sites that make up part of a larger portfolio of work. As such, key responsibilities will include internal and external communication, reporting and data analysis, management of field tasks, and quality and technical reviews of deliverables with an intent of achieving a no further action status with the regulatory agency. - Communicate with client and determine a path forward for select sites within existing portfolios and effectively work to achieve agreed-to deadlines.

Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- 9+ years of progressively responsible experience in environmental due diligence, assessment, and remediation.
- Solid understanding of Washington's environmental regulations (Model Toxics Control Act; MTCA).
- Familiarity with due diligence, complex assessments, and remediation is preferred.
- Self-starting, team-oriented problem solver.
- Strong research, analysis, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Current 40-hour HAZWOPER
- Must have good driving record and a valid driver's license.

As a Mechanical Engineer, your role in our professional consulting services team is to work independently on multidisciplinary projects of various complexity as a discipline leader, through all phases of a project lifecycle. Your Opportunity
The role of a Structural Engineer is to work independently on small projects, and as a team member of larger projects under the guidance of a Senior Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer will be able to evaluate, select, and specify engineered systems or products for a project.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Independently complete calculations and drawings for small projects
- Development of job specific discipline specifications independently for less complex projects
- Works with and coordinates with architectural, interiors, and other engineering disciplines for coordination of the project
- Independently perform Construction Administration duties including completing field observations reports, responding to RFIs, submittal reviews, and evaluating contractor change orders.
- Perform calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
- Communicate design issues and solutions with the design team and Owner clients.
- Understand industry standard design processes and understanding of construction means and methods.
- Work within project scope, budgets, and design approach to deliver projects to clients on time, on budget, and at a high level of client service.
- Assist with development of design standards.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Requisite knowledge and application of structural design codes, standards, and applicable building codes
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, seismic design, construction means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form concepts and ideas to a diverse audience of Architects, Engineers, and Owner clients effectively.
- Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in both independently and in team settings.
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.
Education and Experience
- 3 or more years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is required, master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineering license is required, Structural Engineering license is preferred
- Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit)
- Experience with general business software (Microsoft Office suite)
- Experience with industry standard Structural Engineering software (CSI, RISA, RAM, etc.)
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record

Your Opportunity
As an Environmental Scientist, you will work with close guidance and supervision on tasks and diverse projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a senior professional. You will implement project tasks on a multitude of environmental assessment and remediation projects on a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Works with environmental team in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior professional.
- Performs field work as directed by a senior environmental scientist or engineer.
- Assists with basic environmental assessment and remediation duties on projects of various complexity.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the senior environmental services staff.
- Providing environmental monitoring services on projects

- Working understanding of policies and procedures for HSSE, including client-specific training (as required).
