Excellent company to work for. Great camaraderie, team is like family, wonderful benefits all around. Proud to be part of the DY family.
No real cons working at DY. Like all retail, holidays are stressful but this company makes it pleasurable.
Throughout the year there are always contests you can take part in as a team or individually which is always fun. The health benefits are AMAZING!
Great pay and benefits, you will certainly work and learn alot. A lot of support and resources.
Very demanding as far as expectation and not a lot of flexibility as far as freedom. Very structure, a well oiled machine. Some management personnel and the sense that you are either in or out of the “inner circle”
The salary was great as well as benefits, the company takes care of you.
Be prepared to be put through a series of 1 hour training with every department, your head will be spinning. Nothing about the company is organic or feels friendly, however you will learn quite a bit and will be taken care of. I will not say you will enjoy working for them a sit is not what I would call a friendly company.
It won’t make a difference as management doesn’t change.
Not much to say
Great community, competitive pay, pride of making great product.
Can be stressful
PTO is great, 401k, employee discount, the works.
Everyone works together, like a close family. HR gives lots of incentives
Loved it! I found the company like a big family and loved every moment of working there
Salary
No work-life balance. Overworked & Underoaid No training for new hires (basically teach yourself on the job as you go).
