The DCCC offers a variety of educational programs. Whether you want industrial certification or an associate's degree, the school has a program for you. Some of DCCC's offerings include: * Business and Computer Technology * Criminal Justice and Legal Studies * Cosmetology * Massage Therapy * Nursing To prepare its students for success, DCCC encourages them to get involved in its exciting campus life. Students will be able to gain leadership skills, explore their academic interests and engage socially with other students, as well as the community, through a variety of fun campus programs. The student center is always bursting with activity. Whether there is a band performing, open mic night or guest lecture, you can always find something fun to do at the campus café. A variety of service learning opportunities are available for students seeking to develop leadership skills and deepen their commitment to the Lexington community. Students can lend their services by helping residents complete tax forms, tutoring students in mathematics and English, or providing health care services to the elderly. To encourage state residents to prepare for a professional career, the school offers North Carolina citizens reduced tuition. All students may apply for financial aid by filing a FAFSA. All incoming students are required to complete a placement exam to determine a field of study that is right for them. To begin the enrollment process, students must complete an application and schedule an interview with a DCCC admissions advisor to discuss the results of the entrance exam.
