This position, under direction of an Exercise Physiologist, is responsible for quality patient care to all program participants. In addition, assist in electrodiagnostic monitoring and patient evaluations.
The Exercise Therapist scope is limited to basic testing, pre-defined exercises, and therapies only.
Job Essentials
Complete a general evaluation on new patients to determine therapy/treatment needs and to help determine improvement goals. Where additional health problems or complications are involved the Exercise Therapist refers evaluations to Exercise Physiologist.
Administer submaximal treadmill stress tests.
Assist patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises.
Adapt exercise programs, as appropriate, to help patient meet improvement goals.
Accurately interprets EKGs and/or diagnostic tests.
Provide basic education to patients on exercise programs, health needs, and risks.
Complete appropriate documentation including evaluation reports and discharge summaries.
Clean, maintain, and inspect exercise equipment. Report repair/maintenance needs.
Coordinate care with other patient care providers, as appropriate, to ensure proper, continuous, and beneficial treatment.
Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
Completes assignments accurately and on time as directed by Manager/Supervisor
Reports to work at scheduled time
Participate in evaluation of current practices, program improvement, and development of new procedures and practices to improve patient care.
Enhance knowledge in field of practice and stay up to date on industry trends and changes.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
Basic EKG interpretation and arrhythmia detection skills (or within 6 months of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
Actively enrolled in a Bachelors program (to be completed in 3-5 years) at an accredited institution in the fields of Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (enrollment will be verified), OR
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field from an accredited institution (degree will be verified)

Renewed Hope Ranch is looking for a part-time Mental Health Therapist to provide clinical services for adolescent girls, ages 12-18, in a residential treatment setting. At RHR we believe that the relationship is the most important aspect underlying any clinical care. Therefore, this position requires a relationship focused clinician that can relate with clinically complicated adolescent girls and their families; and implement and coordinate each clients treatment objectives with other therapists and support staff within multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
Additionally, as a therapist at RHR, you will be an important member of the clinical team - you will work closely with your designated 8-10 girls and their families, playing a critical role in creating and implementing each girls unique mental health treatment objectives. Some of your clinical responsibilities may include but is not limited to: weekly individual and family therapy, facilitate group therapy, document all services, creating and maintaining reports, attend treatment team and clinical team meetings, participate in parent weekend seminars three times a year, and work closely with residential staff. As a therapist you will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referring partners or agencies including marketers and consultants.

**Job Essentials**
+ Assesses the patient's medical history, mental health history, and current presentation to understand the patient's needs from treatment.
