2006 Davis Vision’s parent company acquires Eye Care Centers of America, now known as Visionworks, which is the largest United States-owned specialty optical eyewear chain.
2017 Davis Vision is acquired by Centerbridge Partners in a move that merges Davis Vision with Centerbridge’s existing managed vision care company, Superior Vision.
