The Role You'd Play as a Travel Regional Operations Director.
DaVita is seeking a high performing, experienced Director for this unique opportunity to make an impact across the Village in areas where we could be solving for a variety of operational, financial, team or clinical challenges.
This Regional Operations Director will be deployed on assignments that could range from one to six months.
This role will require travel across the United States. Your role will be to serve as an interim ROD. Responsibilities will be to immerse yourself into the region to assess the health of the portfolio, identify problems or barriers to success and then put process in place as well as identify tools and resources to support the team.
You will report to Sean Graham, Division Vice President with a dotted line to the DVP for the division and region you are supporting on your project assignment. You will collaborate with other region and division leaders including a finance manager, people services manager, and medical directors to drive your business forward.
Required qualifications to be a successful Director of Operations:
3+ years' experience as a DaVita Operator
Strong leadership acumen; successful team management and development
Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating leadership; demonstrated financial expertise
Experience working in a matrix organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities across various stakeholders and departments
Demonstrated strong analytical, quantitative and logical thinking skills
Advance computer skills and proficiency in all DaVita Systems are required. Strong MS Excel required; intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Work, Outlook and PowerPoint required
Availability for national travel depending on the needs of the assignment; will range from 50- 80%
Some details about this position:
Deployed across the Village on long term assignments, anywhere from 1-6 months
Complete accountability for your P&L, manage financial and revenue growth, labor management, contract management and capital expenses.
Drive operational, financial, team and clinical performance of your business through KPIs/metrics.
Work directly with clinic managers (FAs) in clinics to identify and address teammate and patient concerns to drive towards Regional goals and standards
Address top growth priorities, provide due diligence and lead successful operational conversions on acquisitions and strategic growth.
Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives that maximize the region's clinical care and growth potential
Interface with business leaders from a broad range of functional teams, including Finance, People Services, Strategy, Quality, and others in support of strategy and operational execution.
Responsible for onboarding and training your replacement ROD

MedStar Health is seeking a Dietitian Regional Manager to oversee the Food Rx Program a comprehensive program offering food-as-medicine for patients with diet-responsive health conditions and food insecurity across the Baltimore region. Based at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital this role provides regional leadership clinical oversight and operationalmanagement for a nationally and internationally recognized food-as-medicine initiative. This position will manage the team of site-lead registered dietitians establish policies and procedures around program operations and standardization track and report on program utilization rates and clinical outcomes (60%). This position will also provide direct patient care within Food Rx including nutrition counseling diabetes education weight management strategies and meal planning support to program participants (40%).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide regional oversight of all Food Rx clinical operations ensuring consistency efficiency and excellence across all sites.
Collaborate with Regional Program Manager to lead streamline and standardize Food Rx workflows policies and clinical practices.
Manage population health and food-as-medicine initiatives that integrate evidence-based strategies for patients experiencing food insecurity.
Supervise and support site-lead Registered Dietitians providing clinical oversight and mentorship to promote high-value care and associate growth. This includes selecting interviewing orienting staff.
Identify and develop growth opportunities to drive program expansion and development
Collaborate with Care Transformation leadership including the Community Health team and the Mobile Health Center.
Represent MedStar Health and the Food Rx program at conferences outreach events PR engagements and hospital-based initiatives.
Collaborate with Regional Program Manager to lead streamline and standardize Food Rx workflows policies and clinical practices.
Manageoperational workflows including patient care services staff coverage scheduling provide back-up support during peak periods and absences and overseeing documentation workflows in the electronic health record.
Establish and monitor operational guidelines to support ongoing program success and sustainability.
Ensure alignment of regional efforts with organizational goals quality standards and community health strategies.
Build strengthen and maintain relationships with community partners; identify and engage new stakeholders to expand program reach.
Oversee program materials including the Food Rx formulary participant education content and site-specific resources.
Provide nutrition assessments and tailored diet education-primarily for diabetes heart disease and other chronic conditions. Offer individualized counseling on nutrition diabetes self-management weight management and meal planning.
Work with interdisciplinary team to identify eligible patients for the Food Rx program coordinate enrollment and follow-up and provide MNT/DSME consults
Travel to MedStar Baltimore hospital sites and community sites where the program has embedded community programs
Incorporate evidence-based strategies into the population health management of patients with complex medical and social needs especially patient populations with food insecurity and uncontrolled diabetes.
Coordinate care with referring providers to reinforce clinical outcomes and comprehensive patient support. 40% of time is direct clinical engagement.

Legal Finance, Budgeting & Accruals: Serve as the Legal Department's primary liaison with DFCI's Finance Department and the Innovations Office on finance matters; partner closely with Finance to manage budgeting, forecasting, monthly accruals, and budget variance analysis on legal spend; manage and track legal spend and ensure accurate allocation, in partnership with Finance and other stakeholders; coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate month-end close, reporting, and forecasting of legal fees; and support strategic short and long-term projects focused on efficient use of internal and external legal resources.

This Surgical Services Business Manager opportunity is full time at 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic individual who functions as an integral part of the surgical services team, working closely with surgery and supply chain operations to ensure all resource (supply, equipment, services) needs are met on a daily basis.
