Additional Information
The on the target earnings for this role are $119,200 - $173,900. Where you fall within the pay range is based on how you demonstrate the attributes and competencies required for the role. We mostly reserve the upper half of our compensation bands for internal growth. Role and Responsibilities
Director, M&A and Strategic Investments, CBD Legal. This position would be in our Corporate Business Development (CBD) Legal group, and would report to the Managing Director, CBD Legal.
Deal Counsel. The attorney's primary role would be as deal counsel supporting all aspects of the Corporate Business Development group's activities, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other strategic investments. Specifically, the attorney would be involved in:
Review M&A pipeline review decks and drive regulatory assessment review by antitrust, CFIUS and FDI counsel of potential transactions, including coordinating input from the applicable business unit leaders and technologists
Prepare and negotiate non-disclosure agreements
Work with internal tax and finance groups and external counsel on transaction structuring
Prepare and advise the deal team regarding the negotiation of term sheets
Conduct and coordinate due diligence investigations, including coordinating with Legal & Compliance Organization (LCO) groups and with IP counsel
Prepare legal and IP due diligence report-outs for the business and deal team
Work with outside counsel on preparation of definitive transaction documentation, working with the CBD deal lead to drive agreement negotiations

Assist in the preparation of playbooks and process improvements for the CBD group and participate in company-wide training programs
Required Experience and Skills
JD from a nationally-recognized law school
The ideal candidate would have at least 6 years of total experience with a practice focused on mergers and acquisitions in a large, international law firm, with at least 2 of those years doing deals with a strong cross-border component for technology companies

Front desk role- must be professional, well-spoken, and organized. Will greet visitors and answer calls from high net worth clientele frequently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Acts as a liaison between home office departments and the branch offices to research and resolve escalated issues regarding clients' accounts communicated via phone, correspondence, email and online inquiries; follows the issue all the way through resolution and final communications.
Determines best method to resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
Follows up, either verbally or in writing, to ensure client satisfaction.
Responds to incoming inquiries related to qualifications, instructions or paperwork requirements for various programs.
Addresses inquiries pertaining to operational policies and procedures and relay policies that govern the procedures handled at the retail level.
Communicates and coordinates with Registrations, Sales Management and Compliance Departments to monitor branch and FA status. Acts as liaison for the branches by explaining the many different systems used and directing the FA to the appropriate systems needed.
Works with branches and the Asset Management Services team to ensure independent branches are approved for certain account types based upon analysis done by the associate. Serves as main point of contact for certain firm initiatives, changes, or unexpected events.
Examples are changes to account fees, trade fees, statement and reports Acts as the liaison for the Attorney of the Day process. Responds to FA questions and concerns about the statements and confirms. Must understand and be able to interpret all products and information on various types of statements.
Handles fee waiver questions for the branch. Makes decision based on each case and unique circumstances. Works with branches and advisors on the cost of doing business (trade related costs). Acts as the main point of contact when BCP events arise for the independent branches. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic office and branch practices, procedures and methods.
Account types and industry operations in general.
Back office systems.
Skill in:
Organizational and time management skills sufficient to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, presentations, electronic communication and spreadsheets. • Detail orientation to ensure quality standards are met without impairing workflow.
Follow-up to ensure resolution and completion of tasks. Ability to: • Provide a high level of customer service in a calm, courteous and professional manner.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Use effective oral and written communication skills sufficient enough to communicate and interact effectively with Financial Advisors and branch associates. • Constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
Ability to handle situations that require de-escalation in high volume circumstances. • Ability to multi-task between several different functions daily.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least two (2) years of securities related experience. ~or~ • An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human Resources. Licenses/Certifications: • None required.

Qualifications
What You Bring:
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years in security operations and/or engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven success building or maturing SOC and incident response programs in hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
Deep expertise in IAM, cloud security (AWS/Azure), vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, IOCs/TTPs, and automation.
Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A passion for mentoring and growing high-performing technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or GCIA.
Experience using automation or AI to enhance security operations.
Additional Information
The salary range for this role is $156,000 - $223,000 per year. Where you fall within the pay range is based on how you demonstrate the attributes and competencies required for the role. We mostly reserve the upper half of our compensation bands for internal growth. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, performance-based incentives, and opportunities for growth.
