CHOP is hiring for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work on our Inpatient Endocrine team at Main Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 1 year of experience practicing as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
In collaboration with an attending physician, the Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for the direct care and follow-up of a population of patients that matches his/her delineation of privileges and skill set. This care is delivered in defined inpatient and hospital-outpatient areas.
The components of the role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and research. The NPs and PAs in these roles may be required to have acute/critical care education and certification. The appropriate education/certification will be determined by the scope of the role in a particular practice area. The clinical portion of this role will require increased level of accountability including managing a cohort of high acuity patients.
In addition to managing patient care, the APP may be required to utilize invasive interventions and procedures to promote physiologic stability. The role will also include off-shift responsibility. The off-shift rotation schedule may include days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays and will be determined by the clinical needs of the practice environment.

Assesses the complex acute, critical and chronically ill patient for urgent and emergent conditions. Uses relevant data to evaluate for physiologic instability. Utilizes the data to formulate a plan of care.
Performs therapeutic interventions to stabilize acute and critical health problems. Specific interventions are listed in the Scope of Practice Document and approved as a part of the credentialing/privileging process.
Analyzes the indications, contraindications, risk of complications and cost-benefits of therapeutic interventions.
Manages the plan of care through evaluation, modification and documentation according to the patient's response to therapy. Manages changes in condition with a focus on optimizing the patient outcomes.
Incorporates health promotion, health protection and injury prevention measures into the plan of care within the context of the complex acute, critical and chronic illness.
Facilitates the patient's transitions between and within health care settings.
Serves as an educational resource to the patient/family, nursing staff, and provider team. Acts as a consultant to multidisciplinary health care team members.
Participates in scholarly activities including research and education. Participates in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate educational offerings. To assist children and their families in maintaining or reestablishing relationships that are healthy and safe in a neutral space. 4. To provide custody evaluators with accurate documentation and supplemental information as needed on the visitation and parent exchange process.
ESSENTIAL & CORE FUNCTIONS: 1. Conduct monitored visits and parent exchanges as outlined by Philadelphia Family Courts which may include hands-on assistance. 2. Ensure child/family safety and well-being in conjunction with court orders. 3. Provide verbal feedback to clients regarding their conduct and progress in the visits, per WES visitation policies and procedures. 4. Monitor and provide a safe visitation and parent exchange environment for children and terminate the visit/contact if it is not deemed appropriate or parties involved have improper conduct. 5. Clearly define the rules of visitation with all parties involved and notify Family Courts if rules are violated. 6. Establish and maintain appropriate professional files that provide all required documentation regarding visits and parent exchanges, including incident reporting. 7. Maintain accurate, complete, and comprehensive notes that must be entered into Credible-EMR system within 48 hrs. from the point of service.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

1. Bachelor/Associate degree in human services or a related field; two years paid experience providing services in direct contact with children and families. 2. The primary purpose of the visit is to allow children to preserve relationships with people who are important to them under the guidance of the Family Court. 2. To monitor court-ordered visits and parent exchange by overseeing the interactions between children and the non-custodial parent so that the child/family benefits as much as possible from the contact. 3. To assist children and their families in maintaining or reestablishing relationships that are healthy and safe in a neutral space. 4. To provide custody evaluators with accurate documentation and supplemental information as needed on the visitation and parent exchange process.
ESSENTIAL & CORE FUNCTIONS: 1. Conduct monitored visits and parent exchanges as outlined by Philadelphia Family Courts which may include hands-on assistance. 2. Ensure child/family safety and well-being in conjunction with court orders. 3. Provide verbal feedback to clients regarding their conduct and progress in the visits, per WES visitation policies and procedures. 4. Chesterbrook Academy Preschool is seeking an energetic and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our growing early childhood education team! Our toddler program is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and support every child's development through discovery and play.
As a Toddler Teacher, you'll create a safe and engaging classroom where children can explore the world around them while building independence and essential early learning skills.
What You'll Do
Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Foster a warm and consistent classroom routine that helps toddlers feel secure and confident.
Build positive partnerships with families through open, ongoing communication.
Work collaboratively with co-teachers and school leaders to ensure an exceptional learning experience.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of 2500 hours of verifiable experience working with children, not including immediate family (your own children or siblings).
Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
A passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
