General Position Summary:
Responsible for the care and safety of children and infants for our part-time Nursery. The Nursery worker plays a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children in our care. It is an important role which entails the safety of the very vulnerable and dependent.
Principal Accountabilities:
Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the Parish
Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
Supports and adheres to the Code of Conduct and policies and procedures of the Parish and the Diocese.
Abides by the Confidentiality Policy outlined in the Diocese Employee Handbook
Guides educational/recreational activities appropriate to the age level of each child in the program.
Practice positive, consistent discipline in the management of the program.
Assists participants in the development of habits of caring for children's own clothing and picking up and putting away toys, books, and crafts.
Arrange medical attention for ill or injured participants per parental instructions and diocesan guidelines.
Ensures accurate attendance information is kept aiding in the proper billing of charges to parents.
Communicate with parents regarding the program.
Demonstrates professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits.
Maintains a work schedule that maximizes availability to the Parish, students, and staff.
Supervision Given and/or Received:
Moderate supervision given by Director, Business Manager and Pastor.
Internal Contacts:
Diocese Pastors, Priests, Preschool Directors, Business Managers, and employees.
External Contacts:
Parishioners, diocese vendors, local, state, and federal agency representatives, and auditors.
Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:
Ability to accept work interruptions while still remaining focused on duties.
Required to manage moderate levels of stress
Required to work in standard Nursery conditions
Required to lift or carry supplies, furniture, and equipment to a minimum of 35 pounds
Requires lifting and picking up toddlers.
Required to maintain composure and avoid inappropriate displays of emotion
Required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, grab, pull, hear, see, and speak daily
Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise, activity, and inclement weather
Nursery care for Adult group meetings may take place in 2-3 hour increments, as needed. Very part-time work. Usually 0-6/week.

Education and Experience:
Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:
* Assists in identifying patients who are eligible for drug assistance programs.
* Contacts manufacturers for eligibility criteria and application forms for drug assistance programs.
* Communicates with each patient's nurse, physician and key people from Pharmacy, the Business Office, and Information Systems to acquire needed information.
* Maintains documentation for all programs to include information from drug companies, all patients enrolled and medications received.
* Maintains an inventory of all medications received in the PAP department.
* Assists in proper receipt, verifying shipments and dispensing of medications to patients and or other pharmacies.
* Prepares monthly and quarterly reports of all drug cost savings and sends to Finance in a timely manner.
* Prepares financial, eligibility, pharmacy and PAP submission information for external pharmaceutical audits.
* Utilizes the PhRMAs (The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America) Directory of Prescription Drug Patient Assistance Programs.
* Performs quality assurance measures prior to submitting reimbursement reports to manufacturers.
* Verifies patient's insurance status, indigent status and illegal status.
* Prepares and tracks prescriptions to be mailed out to patients.
* Prepares and tracks bulk submissions to be sent to outreach pharmacies.
* Keeps track of all submissions, receipt of medication, pending applications, denied applications in the patient assistance software and excel tracking programs.
* Accounts for all drug according to invoice. Label all medication with proper labeling to identify as Patient Assistance medication.
* Analyzes medical records for third party drug coverage or indigent programs.

Essential Functions
The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing direct consumer care to assigned consumers within an urgent care setting. This position works under limited direction yet in coordination with an APP lead. Typical work scenarios require specialized knowledge, critical thinking, sound judgment based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences skills, as well as strong customer service skills. Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; suturing; managing wounds and infections.
Instructs and counsels consumers by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information and promoting wellness and health maintenance.
Develops and implements consumer management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. May be required to supervise ancillary staff.
Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions and refers consumers to specialist and to relevant consumer care options as appropriate.

SUMMARY:
Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing, conducting, and managing classroom activities. Assists the Pre-Kindergarten teacher in providing for the physical, instructional, and social needs of students, including the preparation and management of classroom activities and routines. Assists with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP), 504 Plans, and Response to Intervention (RTI) accommodations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Instructional Support
· Provide instruction to students under the direction of teacher; work with individual students or small groups.
· Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.

· Help maintain neat and orderly classroom.
· Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment.
· Help the teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
· Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
Student Management
· Help supervise students throughout the school day, inside and outside classroom. This includes lunchroom, bus, and playground duty.
· Make the teacher aware of special needs or problems of individual students.
Other
· Attend and participate in faculty meetings and special events and serve on staff committees as required.
· Ensure that all interactions with students, District personnel, and parents are supportive, courteous, and respectful.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
