Administrative Assistants perform a variety of routines from bookkeeping to clerical work, primarily related to the enrollments, computation of fees, billing and collection of child care center fees for service. They will split time between administrative duties and assisting teachers and children in the classrooms!
Job Responsibilities:
Receiving, coding and processing monthly enrollments for billing. Preparing and balancing deposits and posting payments to the child care accounts. Reviewing computer reports related to billing and receipts for accuracy and preparing various reports for the various child care centers. Inputting data for extra charges and credits for billing. Follow up on delinquent accounts. Reconciling payments from 3rd party payers
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age High School diploma or equivalent Associates Degree preferred Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply. Three-year experience involving the preparation and maintenance of bookkeeping or financial records. The transplant unit has 48 private rooms dedicated to organ transplant and post intensive care ventricular assist device (VAD) patients. The nursing team works closely with the Tampa General Medical Group (TGMG) delivering exceptional care using a multidisciplinary approach. Job Summary
The Transplant Assistant (TA) is responsible for coordinating transplant and non-transplant referrals, appointments, evaluations, and other testing in collaboration with the transplant coordinators and managers within the center. The TA also provides excellent customer service to patients when answering patient triage phone calls, supplying appointment information, or responding to patient questions or concerns. The TA will obtain medical records from referring physicians, outside laboratories, as well as inpatient stays, consults, and procedures performed at Tampa General Hospital. The TA will perform clerical duties in support of the clinical coordinator such as drafting correspondence, faxing and copying of materials. The TA works in the electronic medical record to transcribe laboratory results through specific software, to create telephone and triage notes, and to order testing per approved protocols.
