AVAILABLE SHIFTS
We are hiring full time and part time positions. Options include grave shifts (around 12am - 9am), day shifts (9am - 3pm), and evening shifts (around 3pm - 9pm or later). We have some flexibility with these shifts so we will discuss availability during the interview.

To be considered, you must:
Be 18+
Have real dog-care experience (professional is a plus, not required)
Be physically capable of demanding work (walking, stairs, bending, extended time on your feet)
Confidently handle dogs from small to large
Have a smartphone with reliable data + camera (app-based updates are required)
Be organized enough to manage schedules, keys/access instructions, and detailed routines
Be able to pass a criminal background check and provide references
Be able to handle unexpected situations calmly and follow safety protocols
Strong Pluses
Pet first aid/CPR certification
Medication experience (pills, injections, fluids)
Experience handling leash pulling, reactivity, or anxious dogs using safe, positive methods
Availability during peak demand (especially summer + winter holidays)
Schedule & Flexibility
This is a flexible, self-employed role (not W2 employment). You choose your availability within these client-selected windows:
Morning (6am-12pm)
Afternoon (12pm-5pm)
Evening (5pm-10pm)
Anytime (6am-10pm)
Overnights: 10-hour stays
House Sitting: overnight + living in home most of daytime

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DAY PROGRAM DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL - CAREGIVER
As a Day Program Direct Support Professional - Caregiver, you support people with developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including self-care, hygiene, motor skills, arts and crafts, vocational skills, work habits, and community inclusion. Additionally, you assist with behavior management and recreational activities.
Using effective teaching and mentoring techniques, you provide support for our clients with their day-to-day schedules. You are always careful to model appropriate social skills and behaviors. Conscientiously, you keep accurate and up-to-date documentation as well as promptly report any concerns about health or safety. You find it very rewarding to help these wonderful individuals, which is why you're perfect for this caregiving position with our human services organization!
