Qualifications * Minimum: * Must be at least 16 years old at the time of employment. * Previous experience working with children professionally or through volunteer work. * Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within three months of hire. * Preferred: * Two years of experience in childcare, youth programming, arts and crafts, or sports and athletics. * Experience in teaching or previous child watch services. Starting rate of pay is $15.50 per hour. Environment and Physical Factors: This position requires physical activity, strength, and stamina to supervise and play with children. Attendants must be able to stand for long periods, lift and carry infants, and actively engage with children on the floor or in play areas. Work is performed in a busy Recreation Center environment and requires visual acuity to ensure child safety. Offers of employment are conditional upon successful completion of a drug screen.
