Assist the Lead Teacher in checking classroom messages and messages from home.
Assist the Lead Teacher in entering and tracking student information and classroom observations using our electronic system Transparent Classroom.
Report all accidents and incidents immediately and prepare a written report in Transparent Classroom stating the date, time, and nature of the accident and the action taken.
Follow all CMSAA policies and procedures as stated in the Employee and Parent Handbooks and the Schools rules and regulations, as presently existing or as may hereafter be amended.
Follow all standards in accordance with Montessori best practices and principles, State of MI, Bureau of Child and Adult Licensing, and Washtenaw County Department of Public Health.
Should model grace and courtesy with students and adults at all times, be patient, flexible and have a positive attitude in working with all children, staff and parents.
Supported and directed by the Head of School and Lead teacher must obtain 16 hours of professional development courses per year
Other duties as assigned by the Head of School, Program Director or Lead Teacher including assisting when necessary in other classrooms and facilitating breaks throughout the school.
