**Specific Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Reads and works from related blueprints and other schematic drawings.
+ Installs and/or removes various instrumentation devices.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of pneumatics, electronics and electricity.
+ Cuts, bends, and installs pipe tubing or conduit for the installation of air or process lines for instrument controls using hacksaws and pipe cutters for the proper installation of the instrumentation device.
+ Installs instruments, instrument stands and control wiring to valves and strokes valves to verify operation.
+ Installation and calibration of recorders, alarms, switches and other devices.
+ May steam trace lines when necessary.
+ May install flanges and orifice plates.
+ May repair steam traps.
+ May perform other duties necessary in order to remove, install or troubleshoot instrumentation devices.
+ Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations.
+ Other duties as assigned.
