Position Overview DCG is seeking social media specialists to support a large-scale Defense program that supports community quality-of-life programs for active military service members, their families, and survivors worldwide. This program encompasses broad outreach and engagement initiatives, requiring experienced professionals across social media management and analysis. This outreach will include: User engagement (interactive polls, surveys, contests, giveaways, and Q&A sessions); Traffic generation (blog post teasers, event announcements, and infographics); and Awareness and education (e.g., tutorials, industry news or updates, success stories, and case studies). Along with content creation, this team will be responsible for detailed analytics and reporting that spotlights trends and performance metrics to inform social media engagement and strategy. Note: This position is currently contingent on contract award Location Remote; the selected candidate will work during DCG's core Eastern Standard Time business hours. Candidates located within the National Capital Region will be given preference given the possibility for ad-hoc, in-person support. Support logo development, imagery, and standardization of visual identity through the creation and maintenance of comprehensive visual style guides. Provide comprehensive digital strategies support, focusing on UX research, innovative UI design and testing, daily content operations, and user engagement across customer- and information-centric websites, applications, and social media platforms.
