    TITLE: TRiO Director, Principle Investigator DEPARTMENT: TRiO Student Support Services SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $65,000 Under the direction of the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director of TRIO SSS (Student Support Services) is responsible for the overall administration and implementation of the TRiO SSS project, which includes the supervision of program staff, maintaining the budget, compilation of program reports and project evaluations. This position will supervise two Academic Staff positions and one Administrative Staff position. Qualifications Required: * Master's degree in counseling, guidance, student personnel, psychology, career development, social welfare, or a related field. * One year of leadership experience related to the position. * Evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds. * Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. * Knowledge of academic and financial aid requirements and procedures. * Excellent organizational skills. * Knowledge of unique strengths, challenges, and learning preferences of postsecondary students from low-income, first-generation backgrounds. * Demonstrated skills in motivating learners.
