Job Overview:
As an MRI Tech, you would be responsible for supervising and performing procedures on outpatients & from within the ER & nursing units. IV administration of contrast is required.
* Performs MRI scanning and procedures at an appropriate level of competency.
* Collects and researches data needed to perform MRI safely.
* Performs IV injections using safe sterile technique
* Will be required to rotate through Diagnostic Imaging as needed.
Required Certifications/Licenses:
* Degree from an accredited Medical Imaging program
* Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in the state in which you will practice

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist, the radiation therapist uses ionizing-radiation producing equipment to administer therapeutic doses of radiation as prescribed by the physician for each patient undergoing a prescribed course of radiotherapy. Other responsibilities include patient scheduling and education, maintaining treatment equipment and records, monitoring treatment area, and other duties as needed. Accurately delivers a planned course of radiotherapy by administering treatment in a safe manner. Monitors and reports any adverse effects, reactions, therapeutic responses and incompatibilities, and withholds treatment when conditions warrant consultation with the Radiation Oncologist before proceeding.
Demonstrates how to use Linacs and CT simulator and perform patient treatments.

Job Summary:
Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. This position must perform at least 3 of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:
Takes x-rays of designated parts of the human body for diagnostic purposes and provides support for the imaging department. This position performs plain films, fluoro, portables, and OR exams and/or plain films and Bone Density (BD registry required).
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Explains procedures to patient to ensure understanding. Provides appropriate educational material.
Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures. Prepares patient for radiology exam by positioning the patient for the procedure.
Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.
Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
Ensures equipment is properly functioning. Reports potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.
Maintains a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms and any other areas in department.
May perform limited CT procedures in emergent situations when CT Technologist is not on site.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
