The Pharmacy provides 24/365 access to pharmacist and pharmacy services. Technology plays an important role in the distribution process within Deaconess. The department strives to provide the most up-to-date equipment to ensure patient and staff safety. Medication distribution uses a combination of centralized and decentralized automation, bar code medication administration and smart pump technology. Patient information is managed through EPIC for both in and outpatients to create a complete medical record. The Pharmacy supports a decentralized patient-centered, integrated model.

Job Overview
The MyChart Clinical Application Analyst will focus on supporting, optimizing, and enhancing the MyChart patient portal and related clinical systems. You will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of MyChart to ensure it meets the needs of both patients and clinical staff. This role will require extensive collaboration with other application analysts, clinical teams, and IT professionals to ensure a seamless integration between MyChart and other clinical systems.
As a MyChart SME (Subject Matter Expert), you will provide training and support, lead troubleshooting efforts, and manage application upgrades and improvements. Additionally, you will work closely with other teams to define workflows and improve functionality for MyChart.
What You Will Do
* System Administration and Support: Manage and maintain MyChart to meet organizational needs and ensure it supports efficient clinical workflows.
* Configuration and Optimization: Configure MyChart's features to meet department needs, including patient communication, appointment scheduling, and health record access.
* Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Respond to escalated issues and provide troubleshooting support for MyChart and its integration with other clinical systems.
* Project Management: Lead or participate in MyChart-related projects such as system upgrades, new functionality, and integration with other healthcare applications.
* Training and Education: Provide training to end-users, including clinical staff and patients, on how to navigate and utilize MyChart features effectively.
* Workflow Analysis: Work closely with clinical teams to analyze and recommend improvements to workflows that involve MyChart and patient engagement.

What You Will Need
Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, or a related field - Required
* Certification(s) in relevant clinical applications (e.g., Epic, MyChart, etc.) - Preferred
Experience
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting clinical applications, particularly MyChart or similar patient portal systems - Required
* Experience with Epic MyChart or similar systems - Preferred
