Job Overview
This position is responsible for greeting, registering, collecting payments from and directing/escorting patients in compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and hospital policies and procedures. Is an ambassador of Deaconess, cultivating a nurturing atmosphere of courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity and optimism.
Education and Experience
Completion of High School or GED is required. Knowledge of the health care revenue cycle is preferred. Understanding insurance is a plus.

Clear alerts in Tendercare's electronic medical records system, CellTrak.
Collaborate with other departments to provide top quality, kind, and compassionate support to Tendercare patients, families, and employees.
Must strictly adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements regarding privacy and security of health information of clients of Tendercare.
Participate in a rotating Sunday on call schedule (8 a.m. Sunday to 8 a.m. Monday). Schedulers will also take turns covering on-call shifts on holidays. One scheduler should not do more than 2 holidays per year.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Position Summary: The Provider Scheduler, working under the functional guidance of the Director of Clinic Operations carries out daily schedule templating, Epic scheduling decision tree and manages the master provider schedules in collaboration with the clinical team.
