As a Tank Setter, this position provides service, delivery and installation and/or repair to customer's propane tank/s and/or LP piping. The Apprentice Tank Setter works closely with the Pro Tank Setter and Service Technician to provide a safe, speedy, and one and done experience to the customer. Due to the seasonal nature of tank setting, Apprentice Tank Setters may also use the winter months to pursue additional professional certifications or training to branch out into Service Technician or Driver work.
The responsibilities of this position are carried out with particular attention to caring for customer property and working as a trusted advisor. Ultimately, we want The Tank Setter to provide a wonderful customer experience, one that leads our customers to rave about us on social media or to their friends and family.
As an Apprentice Tank Setter this position assists the Pro Tank Setter with safety and efficiency tests, propane tank sets and hook-ups, tank pick-ups and evacuations in accordance with applicable codes, safety regulations and Dead River Company policies.
Eliminates call-backs and reduces liability by ensuring that all work is performed safely and accurately.
Actively participates in training programs to gain new skills in order to be most effective in role.
Promotes image as a trusted advisor through a neat appearance, clean uniform, and timely, safe and courteous service.
Promotes Dead River company propane products and services. Advises customers on best options for specific needs.
Maintains a clean and well-organized vehicle. Ensures that all tools and equipment are in safe operating condition.
On call and overtime may be required to meet customer demand.
Performs all job functions according to state and federal regulations and company policy. Reports all accidents, spills, and liability claims.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
No experience required, though some experience within the energy industry is preferred.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
This position regularly interacts with customers, other employees (dispatchers, other technicians, drivers, and office personnel) and equipment and parts supply vendors. These interactions will be timely to allow for appropriate follow-through. Employees will show empathy where appropriate.
Apprentice Tank Setters may assist their Pro Tank Setters to make decisions regarding the appropriate steps required for transporting and installing LP tanks, performing safety inspections, and commissioning equipment. Complex problems or unusual customer-related issues are referred to the Service Manager or other appropriate parties.
Safety considerations relate to safe operation of the service vehicle, wearing appropriate personal protective safety equipment, proper lifting of heavy parts or equipment, and general observation of the surroundings where work is being done. Icy and slippery conditions are a primary concern during winter.
Industry related equipment including all types of hand tools, testing equipment, soldering torches, power tools, evacuation equipment, along with appropriate gauges and meters. Delivery vehicle and hose/nozzle, loading rack, priming equipment, wrenches, safety equipment (glasses, gloves, hard hat, shovel, speedy dry), and chock blocks.
Temperatures may vary from below zero to above 90 degrees, depending on the time of year. Since the job involves working with devices that burn petroleum products, there is some exposure to the product and fumes. The work area ranges from the vehicle to commercial and consumer sites that are occasionally cramped with little headroom.
The position requires frequent driving, standing, walking, and sitting.
There is occasional to frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing.
There is frequent use of the hands/arms to reach, feel, handle, lift or pull.
There is frequent communication involving both talking and listening.
Tank Setters move various sized objects weighing from a few ounces to over 100 pounds. When very heavy objects are moved tank setters are expected to seek assistance from other employees.

The Wind Technician Apprentice will work at a wind farm in Bliss, NY (address of the site is: 3700 route 78 Bliss, NY 14024). The typical work hours are Monday - Friday, 6am - 4.30pm. The role also requires working on-call hours and overtime.
Any experience with turbines by GE 1.5, Vestas V-80 and/or Siemens 2.3 turbines is a plus.

The person holding this position is responsible for safe operation and maintenance of wind turbine power generation equipment.
Duties & responsibilities:
* Conduct all work activities in a professional, environmentally conscious, and safe manner.

* Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wind turbine generation equipment.

About the Role
The candidate will support the efforts of the Marketing team at The Clean Fight across multiple programs which may include the International Landing Pad Network, Multifamily Affordable Housing Accelerator, Empire Technology Prize, Energy Storage Deployment Accelerator, and the Deployment Grant Fund, as well as future programs.
The candidate will also take part in a variety of team meetings and strategic brainstorms. Position Overview:
Ameresco is looking for an Intern to join our team in Spring/Summer 2026. The Project Engineering Intern will support the Office of Mental Health's comprehensive Energy Efficiency and Pollution Program (CEEP) based in New York.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for site access and building access for ongoing construction services.
Work with site Project Manager on ongoing contact, communication, and coordination with Ameresco customers and subcontractors in the design and construction phases, including project status updates and remedies for delays or other concerns.
Manage, coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality control and that projects installed per design documents, are delivered on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding the customers' expectations.
Evaluate technologies and equipment and recommend most suitable for each application.
Provide all necessary support, reports, and documentation required by Management for project, including technical and other support to sales, engineering and operating functions as needed
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Project Team to prepare and maintain all forms of project presentations, documentation, and related material.
Manage Project to assure accurate record keeping for project to include, daily log, schedule updates, customer interface.
Review, and manage all expenditures for assigned project including ensuring all invoices approved for payment are within budget established in project report and have appropriate purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation.
Foster effective customer, subcontractor and vendor relationships at multiple levels and project phases.
Attend weekly construction meetings at jobsite.

Minimum Qualifications:
Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, facility management or energy management fields.

Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information
