It seems like dealers are becoming more and more common across America. But working conditions and demand for dealers aren't the same everywhere in the U.S. Our research found that New York is the best state for dealers, while Washington and Idaho are ranked highest in terms of median salary. New York has a median salary of $54,715 and Washington has the highest median salary among all 50 states for dealers.
In order to get you the best states for dealers, we looked at our data on jobs and wages -- specifically the average annual wage and the number of available jobs per capita.We found that New York is the best state for dealer jobs, whereas Alabama is the worst.
