Purpose of Position The Buyer compilies information and records to prepare purchase orders for the procurement of materials and services by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Verifies material, parts descriptions and specifications of purchase requests. Uses Buyers Report to determine if inventory material or parts on hand is in sufficient quantity. Consults catalogs and websites, and contacts suppliers to obtain prices, specifications, and availability. Secures three bids for certain items. Types or writes invitation to bid forms and e-mails forms to supplier firms. Compares prices, specifications, and delivery dates and places orders with suppliers for parts and materials. Drives cost savings initiatives. Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices. Purchases non-inventory paint, hardware and fittings, based upon stock levels, and current or upcoming job-related needs. Requests bids from suppliers for pre-packed fitting orders for engineered packages and coordinates deliveries with the warehouse. Performs order entry of steel and fittings into bills of material WIP orders. Performs data entry of purchase orders into the ERP system computer system. Contacts suppliers concerning late deliveries and assists with expediting activities. Acts as a liaison between departments and suppliers to assure quality and conformance to specifications for supplies and services. Obtains pricing and availability of special items requested for engineered packages in production. Purchases material for outside vendors (subcontractors) and coordinates material deliveries to their build locations. Update supplier shipping and delivery dates in ERP system. Continuously tracks progress on key items from suppliers and subcontractors. Work collaboratively within the Supply Chain team and with other departments. Helps drive continuous improvement initiatives. Provides lead work direction to other buyers. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Minimum of an associate's degree or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Position Summary: Dearing Compressor is seeking a Service Administrator to work in its Industrial Service Department. The Service Administrator is crucial to the support and success of the department. This position is located in Youngstown, OH. PRIMARY Reposibilities: * Receive inbound customer service requests, collecting all pertinent information to provide exceptional customer service. * Track all customer communication through NetSuite ERP system. * Provide technical support to service technicians, inside sales, and outside sales as required. * Timely and consistent communication with Service Manager regarding daily status, trends, and key issues. * Take an active role in the financial success of the department by: * Ensuring job readiness for the field service team for the scheduled jobs. * Maximizing field service routing of scheduled jobs. * Utilizing the proper field service skill sets on the appropriate job. * Upselling customers on additional services or products including warranty kits or expanded PM programs. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE * Review and analyze Preventative Maintenance (PM) agreements for accuracy of service intervals and consumable parts. * Source required parts for PM services and route by location. * Schedule service personnel to perform PM services with an effort to ensure optimum routing efficiency utilizing system reports and scheduling (4) weeks ahead. * Monitor 'ready to schedule' queue for all preventative maintenance orders and schedule these orders within 24 hours of notification. * Notify customer within that 24-hour period of the scheduled date of work. QUOTING * Review all 'revisit' / 'needs more work' jobs via NetSuite reports to determine next steps. * Obtain vendor pricing and availability for all repair requests. * Generate repair proposals with lead times. * Source repair parts from vendors for approved work. * Communicate with customers to update status of parts availability and scheduled work in a timely manner. Communication with customers must be made weekly with customers as a minimum. * Schedule service personnel to perform repairs with an effort to ensure optimum routing efficiency. * Notify customers and confirm their readiness within a 24-hour period of the scheduled date of work once parts order is complete and staged. Job DescriptionDescription: DeSHAZO is seeking a highly mobile Safety Manager to oversee and support the Overhead Crane Service group across multiple states, with extensive travel required. This position focuses on providing direct safety oversight during installations, field service work, and customer site projects. The Safety Manager will report to the Safety Director and collaborate with service managers and field supervisors. JOB SUMMARY The welding trainer is responsible for teaching welding techniques, safety procedures, and principles through a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on practice. This role ensures trainees develop the competencies needed to meet industry, company, or certification standards (AWS, ASME, API, etc.). This position requires working closely with production, HR, and quality control and plays a key role in developing Dearing's future welders along with maintaining quality.
