Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Duration: 50 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Position Name: Full-time CVOR RN Facility Name: HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital Shift Preference: Days (Rotating Weekends) On Call: Call is required (varies but can be like 10-15 a month on call) * Needs to be within 30 mins call time Salary Range: $34.85 (2 years of experience) - $38.28 (5 years of experience)- $42.86 (10 years of experience)- $49.06 (17 + years of experience) On Call Rate: The on call pay is $4.00 an hr and if called in gets time and half of pay rate Sign On: $10k Relocation Assistance: Case by Case Qualifications: 2 years of Recent Acute Care CVOR RN experience Required. Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Duties: Evaluate patients prior to surgery Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification Participate in surgical site verification, including briefing, time out, debriefing, and universal protocols, according to hospital policy Recognize and respond to patient emergencies Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team - consisting of the provider(s), surgeons, surgical technologists and more Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients About First Connect Health At First Connect Health, we take pride in being a Joint Commission-certified healthcare staffing agency, headquartered in Newark, New Jersey.
