The firm is seeking a full-time experienced Litigation Docketing Specialist to become part of the Managing Attorney's Office. The Litigation Docketing Specialist will sit in the firm's San Francisco office and will be expected to interact professionally with administrative staff and lawyers. This is a non-exempt position and reports to Counsel, Managing Attorney.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Entering data into the firm's docketing and calendaring system.
Performing electronic court filings in federal, state and appellate courts.
Responding to requests for recommendations of experts, arbitrators and other outside counsel.
Monitoring cases and retrieving documents with the use of various online resources.
Serve documents and file documents in court.
Assisting with maintenance of corporate diary.
Assisting with procedural and filing requirements of California state and federal courts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 1-2 years of litigation docketing specialist experience required.
Experience with Court Management System such as CourtAlert, eDockets or CompuLaw.
Westlaw and/or Lexis.
PACER and any of the main California state court e-filing vendors (e.g., OneLegal).
Court running experience.
Familiarity with California procedural codes and Fed. R. Civ. P. as pertinent to docketing and calendaring.
Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel.
Data entry experience.
Strong client service ethic.
Ability to learn and retain detailed information about court procedures and documentation.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, the ability to work effectively as a member of a team, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work paid overtime, occasional nights and weekends, and flexibility in starting time (as needed).

Responsibilities
Summer Associate Program:
Act as lead professional support for the California summer associate program to plan office programs and monitor program effectiveness

Serve as primary talent liaison for summer associates during the summer program, including facilitating and attending offsite summer associate events on evenings and weekends
Legal Recruitment:
Act as the primary California contact for lateral associate recruiting and California law student recruiting, in coordination with the firmwide recruiting team
Partner with key stakeholders to implement recruiting strategies at target and regional law schools
Support law student hiring efforts by liaising with student organizations to coordinate firm sponsorships and events
Coordinate and manage the interview process, including reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, monitoring and sending correspondence, and facilitating offer follow up meetings
Update and maintain candidate recruiting data and metrics, and prepare reports and analysis as needed

Work with U.S. Talent teams to enhance overall associate experience and support associate retention

The estimated base salary for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 at the time of posting. Position Summary
We are currently seeking a junior or mid-level associate with Commercial Litigation experience to join the Technology Disputes group in our Los Angeles office.
In this capacity, you will handle cutting-edge issues involving privacy and data protection, intermediary liability, defamation, consumer protection, advertising, unfair competition, free speech, terms of service, and safety of minors on the internet for the world's largest technology companies facing disputes internationally. Our global litigation approach ensures the efficient implementation of consistent positions around the world, and expert knowledge and advice concerning local law and procedure on a jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction and global scale.
As a member of the team, you will work on leanly staffed teams to develop and drive case strategy, work with local counsel teams around the world, draft client advice and briefing, and serve in a product advisory role. Commercially minded and pragmatic, you will leverage core litigation skills to tackle cases that may concern novel legal issues and provide full-service support to technology companies on regulatory, litigation, compliance, and criminal matters throughout the world. The role requires good judgment, having a bias towards action and adept problem-solving. Duties and Accountabilities1
As an associate joining our practice, you will be given responsibility for a wide range of important tasks for our Firm's clients. Responsibilities will vary, but generally include the following:
* Develop litigation strategy and draft substantive pleadings for matters throughout the globe - ranging from data protection, defamation, IP infringement, consumer protection, contract and other disputes - and oversee on-the-ground counsel to implement strategy
* Guide clients through regulatory investigations by international data protection authorities, as well as consumer protection and other international agencies, including drafting written submissions, forecasting potential outcomes, and advising on compliance strategies
* Advise clients on risk assessments associated with newly developed products, policies, and business structures, as well as with proposed legislation and regulations across the world
* Analyze reports of unlawful social media posts or unlawful moderation of user accounts
* Research and present global analysis of laws impacting social media companies, including intermediary liability, hate speech and defamation
Qualifications
