Pros of working at DECA

I have been a bagger in a DECA Commissary for two years now. We do not get paid a salary and work for tips only. Pay weeks are better tips.

Cons of working at DECA

There are zero benefits for baggers, cart pushing is forced on baggers. Management is horrible to head baggers and those that work with them. If injured we are basically off without compensation or told to work through it.

What do you like best about DECA's CEO and the leadership team?

Hm...that would take a lot of thinking...

How would you improve DECA's culture?

I would ensure that every Commissary is held to the same standard, investigated for illegal practices and actually pay for cart pusher and even a menial salary for baggers.

How did you prepare for the DECA interview?

I research.

What's the diversity at DECA like?

We have a diverse group here.

How does your compensation at DECA compare to the industry average?

There's no compensation for what I do.

What brings you the most joy at DECA?

The normal crew is great. It's upper management that needs work.

Is this useful?
