Based on the assessment, the engineer will design a modernized network architecture incorporating centralized logging, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and monitoring tools to meet regulatory standards like NERC-CIP, FISMA, and NIST SP 800 series. The engineer will advise on procurement, installation, configuration, and testing of network devices, ensuring proper integration.
