As Chief Financial Officer, John has broad responsibilities for all aspects of Asurion’s financial management, treasury and accounting operations. Most recently, as the SVP, Corporate Development and Strategy, John was responsible for multiple areas of value creation including capital markets strategy and execution, strategic transaction identification and execution, and leadership of the Company’s growth strategy. John joined Asurion with extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and principal investing. Before joining, he worked as a research analyst for a public equities hedge fund and as an investment banker with Robertson Stephens and Alex, Brown & Sons. John earned his M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and received his Bachelor of Arts in commerce and mathematics from the University of Virginia.
