TREATMENT TEAM LEADER (LICSW, LMHC) POSITION SUMMARY
Treatment Team Leaders provide essential services to an underserved population. Specifically, Treatment Team Leaders are responsible for overseeing a unit within a therapeutic milieu focused on providing intensive treatment services to individuals who have been convicted of a sexual offense. They are responsible for the creation, implementation, and monitoring of individualized treatment plans aimed at decreasing risk of re-offense upon release. Treatment Team Leaders provide training and ongoing supervision to clinical therapists who facilitate treatment within the Treatment Team Leader's assigned unit. In addition, Treatment Team Leaders facilitate treatment for individuals who have engaged in sexual offense conduct. These staff members also assist in the evaluation of participants for program progression and graduation. Treatment Team Leaders are essential to the treatment program's ultimate goal of ending sexual violence, or “No More Victims.”
An ideal candidate holds a master's degree in a human service-related field (e.g., social work, psychology, mental health counseling). Candidates must be independently licensed (e.g., LICSW, LMHC). Ideal candidates are conscientious, organized, intellectually curious, excellent team players, maintain strong boundaries, adept at clinical case conceptualization, and possess excellent clinical writing skills. Candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment with challenging clinical cases are especially well-suited for this position. Although this position requires independent licensure, Unit Directors attend clinical supervision; candidates should be open to the clinical supervision process, as well as receptive and willing to implement feedback. Prior experience working in the field of sexual abuse treatment and prevention is not required; all necessary training is provided following official hire.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality legal representation to the Department and to ensure the tax laws are enforced in a vigorous, fair and even‑handed manner.
The Department seeks a Counsel I for its Litigation Bureau. This is a junior‑level trial attorney position. The incumbent will represent the Department in proceedings before the Appellate Tax Board and various courts both as lead counsel in low to moderate dollar value cases, and as second seat with more senior tax attorneys in multimillion‑dollar tax litigation. The Bureau works in a hybrid model (part remote and part in‑office in Boston).
Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):
Handle Appellate Tax Board (“ATB”) cases in which the dollar value of an individual case does not exceed a defined dollar value, as well as cases of similar value in state and federal (mainly bankruptcy) courts.
Negotiate with opposing parties when appropriate, to reach resolution based on relative merits of case and hazards of litigation.
With regular supervision, argue motions and litigate cases that cannot be settled or otherwise resolved.
Provide functional direction, guidance, instruction, and delegation of tasks to interns, support staff, or other personnel; and participate in the training and mentoring of new employees.
Obtain information needed to represent the agency in litigation matters by conducting research and analysis of the applicable laws, statutes, and regulations, and by reviewing cases, files, case history, and evidence submitted by opposing parties to understand the facts and issues and to determine the best course of action.
Assist other Litigation Bureau attorneys with their respective cases; may participate in major ATB appeals with senior staff attorneys (Tax Counsels and Counsel IIs) on their assigned cases.
Assist other Divisions within the Department when they seek certain legal advice or action including, but not limited to: seizure referrals; license revocations; contract actions; and opposition and/or cooperation with regard to certain subpoenas and summonses. General Statement of Duties: Provide services to children with a wide variety of confirmed or suspected developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
* Develop, write and implement ISPs for infants and young children
Serve as an advocate for parents and children in the first 766 evaluation when leaving the program.
Plan and participate in specialized child groups.
Work within an interdisciplinary team approach, providing consultation, training and supervision to other staff members.
Provide and support families with individualized home program.
Fulfill electronic health keeping requirements.
Attend meetings and appropriate trainings as required or as assigned by supervisor.
