This role plays a key part in creating a seamless and professional experience for guests and clients. RESPONSIBILITIES: Event Setup & Teardown Set up and tear down meeting and event rooms, including furniture, staging, and equipment, per BEO specifications. Properly care for, move, and store equipment such as tables, risers, dance floors, lecterns, and room supplies. Straighten chairs, change soiled table linens, empty trash cans, and restock materials as needed. Cleanliness & Maintenance Periodically clean meeting and event rooms before and after events, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, and wiping surfaces. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations. Follow all resort policies and procedures. Guest Service & Team Collaboration Provide excellent customer service to clients during functions as needed. Collaborate with banquet servers, bartenders, captains, managers, and other resort staff to ensure smooth event execution. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. Availability & Flexibility Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with varying indoor and outdoor conditions. Support the Director of Program Development in aligning organizational growth assumptions and Industrial Engineering analysis with the real-world needs of operating teams, ensuring that facilities, programs, and operational approaches function as intended once implemented. Own operational readiness efforts, ensuring that physical infrastructure, staff and back-of-house support functions, access plans, wayfinding, and guest-facing operations are prepared to perform under real operating conditions from day one. Provide clear ownership in planning areas that fall between teams, advancing decisions and resolving misalignment across operations, capital planning, and development before impacts reach day-to-day operations. Manage select high-impact or cross-functional initiatives that require both disciplined planning and hands-on execution to move from concept to implementation. Ensure that operational plans are effectively executed, transitioning initiatives from planning into implementation in alignment with the resort's long-term vision and operational objectives. Project Management and Execution Serve as project manager for select strategic initiatives across the organization, leading both planning and execution. Develop project scopes, schedules, and implementation plans in coordination with cross-functional teams. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform daily startup procedures and periodic inspections of lifts and conveyors in both winter and summer Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical systems, PLCs, circuit boards, DC and AC drive systems and control panels on aerial lifts and conveyors Assist in in-service and after-hours mechanical and electrical repairs Troubleshoot and service low-voltage control systems and motor drives Participate in safety and technical training, particularly in electrical safety and control systems Maintain clean, organized workspaces and properly store tools and test equipment Participate in daily morning briefings with the maintenance team Ensure timely and accurate completion of records, including maintenance logs, repair documentation, and fault reports Conduct routine mechanical and electrical inspections and system diagnostics Collaborate with other departments within Mountain Operations and the Resort as needed Support seasonal projects and assist in the installation or upgrading of lift electronics and conveyor components Be willing to help out with any mechanical work as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain clean, neat, and sanitary conditions in guest spaces and the back of the house by making regular rounds cleaning walls and floors, cleaning and organizing shelving, emptying trash containers, and vacuuming when necessary Check all hand wash stations to ensure they are clean and equipped with soap and paper towels Perform scheduled cleaning such as cleaning toilets, urinals, mirrors, benches, lobby area, windows, etc. Receive and stock items delivered for the janitorial and stewarding department Properly clean and restock all restrooms and storerooms during the day Ensure dock area is clean and organized by putting boxes in the bailer, checking it often, and using wire to tie bundles of cardboard if it's full Set up the night restaurant and turn it over at the end of the night at Snow Park Set up for banquets and events held in Snow Park area Clean trash compacter as needed Light and maintain fireplaces during the day Assist with cleaning Deer Valley owned stores including the Deer Valley Plaza building Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Prior cleaning experience preferred Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
