His dream was realized in 1955 through a generous gift by Charles and Marjorie Timson, and the community was initially established in the Timsons’ eleven-room summer residence on 30 acres of farmland.
1999 Planning began for a major expansion.
The project began in June of 2008 with construction of a third apartment building adding 83 independent living apartments, 20 new assisted living apartments to Haden Hall, 14 suites in Simonds Healthcare Center, and the Riverwalk Spa.
2010 A second Deerfield Expansion was completed.
2014 The pre-sale process began in September and by December 31st all planned cottages and villas were reserved.
