Purpose of the role
Union Savings Bank is seeking a reliable and motivated Deposit Operations Associate to support essential functions within the Accounting & Finance team. The Deposit Operations Associate plays a vital role in wire processing, deposit account support, internal service, and cross-functional coordination.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Wires
Manage daily wire initiations, including branch, escrow, construction, liquidity, and internal transfers
Review outgoing wires for completeness and accuracy before submission
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing and documentation
Maintain records and reconcile daily wire activity within the general ledger
Operational Support
Process customer address changes and manage return mail workflows
Maintain accurate deposit records and follow up directly with customers when needed
Assist with journal entry reviews and support the monthly and year-end close process
Customer Service
Assist the deposit operations phone team by fielding inquiries related to online banking or account maintenance
Respond promptly and professionally to both internal and external requests
Help ensure every customer interaction is handled with accuracy, clarity, and respect

Education and Experience

Under the direction of the Chief Risk Officer, the Compliance Officer is responsible for developing and administering the Bank's compliance program to ensure adherence with regulations and rules governing operations and product offerings in all areas of the Bank. The Compliance Officer oversees compliance testing and assists in the education of all personnel, including management and the Board of Directors, in all areas of compliance. Compliance Officer Responsibilities:

Ensures the development, and periodically reviews and updates, the Bank's compliance policies for adoption by the Board of Directors and compliance procedures covering applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Ensures the development and implementation of a monitoring program to effectively review the various areas of the Bank for compliance, including auditing and testing. Ensures all areas of the Bank are properly reviewed thoroughly and in accordance to the annual compliance review schedule.

Monitors and analyzes developing trends and changes in laws, rules, and regulations, and advises management of the impact of such trends and changes. When changes occur, they collaborate with impacted business unit managers and other stakeholders to develop and execute a holistic change management plan.
Serves as a subject matter expert providing compliance advice and guidance to all Bank staff as necessary, addressing compliance questions and concerns.
Reviews and revises the Bank's forms and disclosures for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Works with legal counsel and bank personnel in developing contracts, forms, and/or disclosures that meet the needs of the Bank and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Provides input regarding compliance concerns relevant to the products and services offered by the Bank and for new development and changes to products and services to be offered, including promotional advertising or solicitations.
Ensures that reports to federal and state regulatory agencies are complete, accurate, and filed on a timely basis.
Oversees the tracking, investigation, and response to customer complaints.
Organizes and facilitates Compliance Council meetings, and participates in other risk-related functions, committees, and meetings.
Coordinates with federal and/or state regulatory agency examiners during Compliance and CRA examinations. Ensures appropriate responses to examinations involving compliance-related issues and delivery of compliance-related information.
Coordinates with the internal and independent auditors to ensure that compliance issues are adequately addressed where appropriate.

We are currently searching for a Credit Analyst to work onsite at our Operations Center/Corporate Office in Columbus Grove, OH!
Under the direction of the Chief Credit Officer, the Credit Analyst evaluates the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit and renewing LOCs with Union Bank Company for commercial and agricultural purposes. Additionally, the Credit Analyst reviews the financial condition of commercial and agricultural customers.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes financial information and collateral on new, renewal and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, customers, prospects, and other financial institutions.
Prepares, evaluates, and summarizes the financial analysis on new, renewal, and existing commercial loans including traditional cash flow statements, UCA cash flow statements, collateral analysis reports, rent rolls, and analysis of revolving lines of credit.
Interacts with customers and lenders in preparation of analysis reports.
Monitors on-going compliance of existing loans with loan covenants and borrowing bases.
Assists with loan presentations and assists with the minutes for the Loan Committee, as needed.
Analyzes financial ratios to determine overall strength of the borrower.
Identifies strengths and weaknesses of a credit relationship and recommends appropriate loan grade.
Works with lenders and customers to determine income and expense projections of new and existing projects.
Recommends and reviews loan structure, loan covenants through analysis and review of collateral values, title work, appraisals, mortgage documents and loan documentation.
Analyzes current information and helps prepare the reports for the Adversely Classified Rating (ARC) meeting.
Assists with appraisal reviews.
Additional Responsibilities:
Organizes the materials and reports for Loan Committee and ARC meetings. Attends meetings and maintains the minutes.
Keeps abreast of changes in products, policies, and procedures.
Attends training as needed on a periodic basis.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Assists customers (internal and external) with resolution to questions, problems, and issues.
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (preferably with a specialization in Finance or Accounting) or equivalent work experience as a credit analyst or related position in financial institution.
Prefer 1-2 years' financial institution experience.
Must have the capacity to work under deadlines and be able to handle confrontational situations.
Must have the ability to work independently.

Purpose of the role
In this position, you will be responsible for branch sales, customer growth, and deposit retention. You will also direct and supervise the staff on day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee a staff of 3-5 employees
Responsible for coaching, training, and reviewing employees

Education and Experience

National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
