Summary:
The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in settings such as hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers, they create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy to help patients recover and become independent. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to high-quality, safe patient care.
Essential Work Functions:
Evaluate patients' physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment need
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain
Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of devices
Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimize treatment outcomes
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to promote long-term functional recovery
Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards while addressing patients' comfort needs during therapy sessions
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices in physical therapy
Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress in community or home-based settings
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice

Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills

Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail

Summary:
The Travel Cath Lab RN provides specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments. The RN prepares patients for procedures, assists during interventions, and monitors immediate post-procedure recovery. Working closely with cardiologists and cath lab teams, this role requires advanced cardiac care skills, cardiac catheterization skills, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly while maintaining strict safety and regulatory standards.
Essential Work Functions:

Assist in positioning patients correctly for the procedure and ensure EKG electrodes and cardiac leads are properly placed

Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
Assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression, and transport patients to the appropriate recovery area
Monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedure
Support post-procedure care, including monitoring patient recovery and ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase of care
Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, ensuring everything is functioning properly and fully stocked for procedures
Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians to provide seamless care
Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

Position Overview
Action Council/Building Healthy Communities is seeking an organized individual passionate about supporting our mission to activate Monterey County resident voice and power to build an inclusive, anti-racist democracy and safe, thriving communities. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Executive Assistant will serve as a vital link between the Executive Director, the organization, and the community.
In this role, the Executive Assistant will manage the Executive Director's calendar and projects, correspondence, and communications, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include preparing documents and presentations, scheduling and coordinating meetings, maintaining records, and facilitating communication with the Board of Directors and Board Committees. In addition to supporting the Executive Director, the Executive Assistant will collaborate closely with the Support Team, and assist with administrative duties as needed, as backup to the front office. The Opportunity
The Restaurant Checker is one of the key contact points for our guest's experience. A cashier is responsible for always providing enthusiastic and friendly Customer Service to each guest, generating sales, housekeeping, cash register operations (POS) and accurate cash handling.
Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.

Reporting to the Director of Experiential Learning, the Experiential Learning (EL) GA provides data management, resource generation, communications, and strategic feedback on/for experiential learning programs at the Middlebury Institute. This is temporary student position estimated at 7 hours per week.
This is a student Level A position paying $16.95 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
* Provide outreach, reporting, and administrative support for semester-long credit-bearing practicum courses (e.g, PSS and IEM Practicum)
* Support faculty-led global course information sessions, Wordpress site updates, and marketing.
* Work in tandem with EL Director and Communications Team to develop Experiential Learning stories for miis.edu and social media.
* Assist EL Director in the creation of the annual Experiential Learning Impact Report.
* Distribute forms and handouts for students on timeline, application process, sample letters to organizations, etc.
* Maintain checklists of which documents/requirements have been met by each student. Send reminders.
* Update sites.miis.edu/immersivelearning with experiential learning funding deliverable submissions.
* Assist in the build-out of virtual onsite course resources and virtual experiential learning resources as needed.
* Maintain reports by past students to help future students choose practicum sites.
* Serve as student representative on Experiential Learning Funding Committee. Review EL funding applications.
* Support promotion of student practicum presentations through creation of flyers, event calendar listings, and MiCommunity posts.
