Delaware Technical Community College company history timeline
On October 8, 1968, the Board, relying on input from architects and concerned citizens, opted for the development of a “multi-campus” facility with two locations to better meet the needs of all New Castle County residents.
In response to this need, Kent Campus was established in 1972, and the name was later changed to “Terry Campus” in honor of Governor Charles Terry, who was a motivating force behind the establishment of the College.
The Southern Campus was renamed in 1995 to the “Owens Campus” in honor of its first campus director, Jack F. Owens.
The baseball team won the 2001 NJCAA D2 World Series.
