1964 – Renner buys a Lincoln Door Clamp from Berry Door of Birmingham, MI, and creates Delden Mfg.
1969 – Delden begins producing fiberglass and aluminum garage doors.
1980 – Delden buys a rollformer and begins producing its own commercial steel doors.
1982 – With Renner as President, Delden, Amarr (Winston-Salem, NC), and Ankmar (Denver, CO) form the Garage Door Group (GDG) to make residential raised-panel steel garage doors in Kansas City.
1989 – GDG moves to Lawrence, KS; to a plant built and owned by the Brenner family of Amarr.
1992 – Gene Renner purchases Harry Link’s and Dick Wright’s shares of Delden.
1997 – Amarr buys Delden Mfg. of Illinois.
2000 – Delden builds a new plant in Kansas City with 84,000 square feet of room.
2006 – Rick Vinson becomes co-owner for Delden of Iowa.
In November 2013, Amarr was acquired by ASSA ABLOY, one of the world’s leading brands in door opening solutions, to become the leading North American sectional door brand of the company Entrematic.
2014 – Delden celebrates 50 years!
2018 – Renner Supply Company Re-Brands as “Renner Garage Door”
