Summary:
The Sales Order Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the order entry process for customer purchase orders. The order entry process facilitates the identification of company performance obligations and captures detailed order information required for revenue recognition. The Sales Order Coordinator performs the first step in the order-to-cash cycle. Summary:

* Work with internal MRC departments to set up and maintain accurate customer files (profiles).
* Establish and maintain customer relationships, communicate with customers and co-workers to provide technical information.
* Participate in meetings and training opportunities to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge.
* Monitor expected ship dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
* Provide prompt responses to internal and external customer, vendor and branch inquiries about material and the sales function (including warehouse errors, shortages, and damaged material).

Required Experience
* High School Diploma, GED (General Education Degree) and additional post-secondary training or education.
* Any combination of two or more years in customer service, inside sales and/or warehouse services in a position with increasing responsibility, to include demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience.

* Knowledge of or ability to learn MRC warehouse operations and business processes.

Dispensing process will include determination of the power ranges and specific lens measurements by frame; measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for client according to written optical prescription or specification.
