We are looking for a motivated multi-tasker who enjoys customer service to handle this high volume fast-paced station. This station will provide made to order sandwiches, paninis and wraps for café service as well as the same for all catering orders.

• Set-up, maintenance and breakdown of the station and will prepare, stock, label and date all products for the station.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all outlined health and safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene.
• Adhere to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience with the assembly, operation and disassembly of the meat and cheese slicers, knife skills, familiarity with related utensils and equipment including food processor and robocoupe.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills required in addition to strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Have the ability to move objects approximately 35 lbs. to waist height.

Overview
Liquor Barn, Party Mart, and DEP'S (BRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GoPuff. An operated retail chain of spirits, beer, wine, and party goods in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We offer 23 retail locations across the state, including Louisville, Lexington, Danville, Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Owensboro, and Northern Kentucky, with a delivery radius reaching 80% of Kentucky residents.

As a Deli Associate, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service while driving sales through BRS products by fulfilling customer orders at the deli counter.

Responsibilities

Includes, but are not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of our products and services
- Knowledge of BRS products to provide customers with recommendations
- Replenish and maintain inventory
- Perform cashier functions and adhere to all policies while completing customer transactions
- Maintain store safety standards and Health Department Standards
- The use of deli machinery, preparing warm and cold food, and the ability to cut and weigh a variety of meats, cheeses, and salads.
- Store cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, bathroom
- Follow proper age verification policies
- Assist in promotions and setup of events
- Must pass company provided food safety certification
- The ability to handle several tasks at the same time adapt to the fast atmosphere
- Knowledge and experience with serving and preparing food for consumption as well as alcoholic beverages for customers are preferred but not required
- Maintains personal hygiene as stated BRS and local Health Department requirements.

Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires (nights, weekends and holidays)
- Desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of product and services
- One year as a store associate or customer service representative
- Prior experience in a team environment requiring professional communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills necessary for establishing customer and team relationships
- Ability to demonstrate a positive and engaging attitude and demeanor
- High School Diploma or equivalent

This job requires the ability to perform the following:
- Frequently standing and moving in an assigned location safely and efficiently
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Handling objects, products, and equipment safely
- Bending, kneeling
