ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Mix and measure ingredients to form dough or batter for recipes, roll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pie crusts tarts, cookies, and related bakery products Cut, peel and prepare fruit for pie fillings, baking cakes, and preparing icing Training assistants and maintaining cleanliness of the bakery Maintaining records of customer orders Provide quality customer service and take cake orders Ensure cleaning supplies are stored separately Ensure cooler and freezer temperatures are correct and maintained Rotation of merchandise in accordance with labels and maintain department plan-o-grams and schematics SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent;Basic kitchen skills, familiar with food preparation in a bakery department.Bilingual in English and Spanish PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS: The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
