Job Description

The Patient Care Coordinator in conjunction with the Nurse Manager, is responsible for the function of the department, ensures that those under his/her supervision adhere to the goals and objectives of the department in accordance with its policies and procedures. Contributes to and supports the mission, vision and values of the department and organizations. Assists with the development of policies and procedures for the department, maintains high visibility on the unit and is a clinical resource person who acts as a role model for the staff on the designated area. The PCC is responsible for maintaining the continuity of patient flow, provides a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Additional Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Master s Degree preferred, RN/BSN Degree required. BLS certification and all other required by the department and unit. Must complete a minimum of 8 hours per year of professional development focused hospital wide leadership issues.

Position Overview:
The Delivery Coordinator is an integral part of the Pella Mid-Atlantic team. Responsible for ensuring precise and timely deliveries of products to our installation teams. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and various Pella Mid-Atlantic team members and be proficient in Microsoft Products, including but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint. The ideal candidate has experience using, or will be able to learn, internal systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail when multitasking and superb customer service skills.

Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
• Schedule, route, track, and confirm customer deliveries
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met and maintained on deliveries
• Maintain timely and consistent communication with customers, contractors, and internal team members
• Prepare dispatches, delivery tickets and delivery reports
• Track fleet expenses
• Assist team with daily workload
• Timely responses to high volume of emails and other communications
• Access and utilize daily reports and other systems to complete jobs in a timely and accurate manner
• Other duties assigned by management

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Preferably 1+ years with safety and or dispatching experience
• Construction knowledge useful but not required
