Delivery driver and helper job description

• Load trucks daily in preparation for delivery
• Complete 12-18 Deliveries a day.
• Maintain a high level of customer service
• Inspect and practice quality control of product prior to loading or delivering.
• Maintain a consistent work schedule, and complete deliveries in a timely fashion.

Qualifications: Driver ($160-$200 per day) ***$1000 Sign On Bonus after 90 days***

• Age: Drivers must be 21+
• Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Clean Background (No Felonies with in last 7 years or record of theft)
• Meet DOT Physical requirements
• Complete company issued drivers safety training course.
• Strong work ethic and personal drive.

Qualifications: Helper ($130-$160 per day) ***$500 Sign On Bonus after 90 days***

• Age: Helpers must be 18+
• Clean Background (No Felonies with in last 7 years or record of theft)
• Meet Standard Physical requirements (Lift and Back Screen)
• Strong work ethic and personal drive.

Additional Opportunities:

• Monthly evaluation of each delivery team can result in as much as an additional $30 per day bonus on top of standard pay rates.
• After 90 days in good standing we offer our employee the ability to work as an IOO (Independent Owner Operator) and have a contract directly with us.
• Referral Bonuses. We do offer referral bonuses to everyone on our staff. Depending on the position you refer someone to, we pay between $250-$1000 per applicant after 3 and 6 months from their hire date.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Delivery Driver Helper:

* Loading and unloading vehicles based on instructions from supervisor

* Delivering or picking up merchandise based on a route specified by supervisor, following company procedures

* Verifying the contents of inventory loads against the shipping papers

* Securing signatures from customers as required

* Providing relocation services on a local or interstate basis

Available shifts:

Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

* Minimum six months of delivery experience in a customer-facing environment

* Valid driver's license

* Able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles

* Some Delivery Driver assignments have additional screening requirements, such as an MVR check.

* Background Check Required
