Qualifications **Requirements** Arrive at 09:15am Load delivery vehicle every morning (300+ packages) Utilize GPS on company provided smartphone to navigate to make each delivery a success Drive the company vehicle safely, provide great customer service Deliver all packages to our customers (businesses and residential customers) (Other work things and stuff!) Be at least 21 years of age or older Have a valid driver's license (moving violations in the last 3 years cannot be forgiven) Pass both a background check and a drug test Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds (don't worry - most packages are lighter than that!) Part-time Description SUMMARY OF BUS DRIVER: Drive daily fixed routes for the transportation of children to/from the center. Ensure that each child is correctly secured in approved child safety restraints. To act as an Ambassador to the Agency and to reflect all Agency matters positively. REPORTS TO: Regional Manager/ Site Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Part Time, Non-Exempt ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF BUS DRIVER : Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must supervise and monitor children at all times by following Active Supervision procedures, policies, and strategies to ensure no child is ever left unsupervised. Maintain the cell phone system by reporting any non-reception areas to the regional manager and limiting usage to transportation needs. Participate in center and bus monitoring for safety and compliance. Participate in family staffing when applicable. Serve as a liaison between ICAA Head Start and Head Start families. Participate in general cleaning of the center.
