About the Role: The Truck Driver is a CDL Class A driving position that is responsible for driving materials and equipment to project locations which are subject to cross state lines and may require overnight stays. The Driver & Warehouse hybrid position is responsible for safely operating delivery vehicles (including our forklift and Commercial Motor Vehicles or CMVs) to transport electrical supplies to designated locations. You are expected to provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns and relaying them professionally to your other teammates. You will be expected to maintain delivery schedules and ensure timely arrival at least location and provide clear communication to customers and teammates of expected arrival dates and times. You will be expected to inspect your vehicles for mechanical and safety issues before departure, and complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries and returns as needed. This position is also responsible for various duties related to the handling of materials in the warehouse. This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
